Spirals and ellipticals

I was thinking on the way to work about elliptical galaxies and spirals and I thought could the spiral arms originate from the jets of our Milky Ways Supermassive BH. Is the BH orientated with it spinning by many degrees off its axis? Couldn't all ellipticals have their central BHs with their jets pointing away from the galactic disk.

Another thought I had was perhaps a galaxy disk is actually the furthest part of the central blackholes accretion disk.

Ellipticals don't have a disk for the jets to point away from...

And not all spirals have supermassive black holes (e.g. M33).

M33 no Supermassive BH.. Something wrong or very interesting there.

I didn't know that about M33. Strange indeed. Must do some reading.

Given the relationship between bulge size and black hole size, the lack of a SMBH in M33 is connected with the comparative difficulty we have observing it: the galaxy lacks a large, bright central bulge, such as we find in M31.

Should do a bit of research before starting thread.. Yes original statement was poorly thought out but at least I learned something about M33.
