Mars from January 14, 2012.

Seeing was average, the bright spot almost center is Elysium Mons, and Olympus Mons is peeking on the left, you can see the clouds there.

I think the DMK? But it may be just to more saturation?

Now those are excellent images.

Ive just been reading about the history of Mars visual observation and squinting your eyes whilst looking at those images you can see how folks could be fooled into thinking they were seeing straight line features.

Schaperelli (dont think Ive spelt his name right) coined the name Canalii then Lovell took it to new heights.
