eye cups ?

ive had a sore eye for a week or so and its my left eye,which coinsidently is the eye i use mostly when observing (ive no idea whatsoever as to why the left:icon_scratch: )

anyway is it common practice for you guys and gals to clean the cups?

if so is it a case of hot water, or am i talking out of my rear ?

Got my Hyperion yesterday, the eye cup is removable so soapy water will do it think, it your eye piece is fixed some sort of bacterial wipe might be needed.

no ,its removable. just wondered how often ,if at all you seasoned guys clean them.

i was going to drop it in some hot water.

Think you will need summink in the water to kill any germs, some sort of soapy stuff....my only seasoning is in age, not EP's..
