Has anyone considered using this to lubricate/dampen the gears on their mounts?

I think this would be more superior to lithium based greases if used sparingly on the mount gearing, though I wouldn't consider it suitable for the bearings and shafts where completely free movement is required.

Not cheap at £18 for 10grms!
