I'm starting to process tonight's videos of Jupiter and I was wondering why I wasn't quite getting the detail from a few nights ago......... and why the images seemed a little bit smaller.

I forgot to put the blimen' extender between camera and Televue x3 barlow!!! Lost a few good f ratio thingeys - 25% probably. What a wally

That was probably my last Red Spot opportunity as by the time it is dark enough, Jupiter will be over my neighbours hot house and his boiler vent

Great shot. The seeing was definitely not as good last night as the previous two nights, at least where I was - I couldn't get the sharpness no matter how much time I spent on the focus.

Thanks Zul. The left was with the extender in the x3 barlow which makes it ~x4 which seems to give the best detail for my set up. A x5 barlow is a bit too much and detail is lost and x3 is a bit too little as resolution is lost.
