Heya guys!

I managed to get out an do some imaging last night, finally getting my guiding to work! It was great being able to sit in the warm house and control is all from a computer :) No more sitting in the cold:)

Anyway here are the details:

Canon 1000D

HEQ5-PRO

Finder-Guider (Phillips webcam)

WO Megrez 72

Exposures:

Lights = 87x30seconds

Darks = 20

Flats = 30

Bias = FAIL

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I did stack the photo with the bias but it seemed to mess with banding noise etc.... :D I will have to attempt them again some time! Anyway this is my first go at Orion and it has taught me alot about processing so I'm happy with this result but aim to imrove it over the winter!

There also seem's to be some sort of banding noise going on? Any suggestions?

P.S. Slightly higher RES version: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58036646@N02/6694471075/in/photostream

Let me know what you think!

Ste.
