Illuminated Eye-Piece VS Polar Alignemnt Scope

Hey guys,

just looking for advice on what you would recommend as a priority in order to polar align a CG5 GT mount. My polar alignment seems to be a bit hit and miss whether i do it right so, I understand that 2 ways of improving the accuracy are to use an Illuminated Eyepiece when aligning the mount, or a polar alignment scope to help align the mount from the get go. Cant afford both at the moment so was just looking for peoples advice.

Its the mount need to be Polar aligned.

if it's polar alignment you are after get the polar alignment scope.

As above, you can attempt drift aligning with the scope, but you need the polar scope to polar align
