elongated stars in the corners...

I took this 60 sec exposure picture last night of Canis Minor.

stars in the middle of the picture are nice and round, however in the corners.... oh dear :)

taken with:

Lumix GF1

Minolta 50 mm F1.7

A mode

60"

Is there anything I can do?

DP seeing as the gave no info on how the camera was "mounted" when the pic was taken how were you to know...

Most of the Canon 50mm lenses need stopping down to f3.5-f4 to sort out the coma... but that means longer exposures and all the extra effort tthat that entails so its swings and round abouts...
