IC405 Flaming star 1st crack

This is a pretty dim target and happy with the results. Took color images until the flip, then tried Ha images on the western side but clouds wanted to spoil my night. I shortened the Ha subs from 10min to 5mins thinking I'd get more keep rate with the moving clouds, but 2hrs of 5min just isn't enough for this target. The 10mins subs showed more but just no pop to them (only have 3)....maybe 15min on this target?? I still getting some field rotation, but PHD was tracking like a champ last night.

Anyhow here's my color data, a bit over 2hrs of 5min subs.

That's fine for a colour layer. If you get back out there on the tail of some Ha you'll be amazed by what it pulls out. It's going well and worth a bit of time, this one.
