Starter scope recommendations....

Hi all, So having a new interest in the skies, and having read lots of threads on here, I could do with some advice on a starter/first scope. I have been using my sons Heritage 76mm Dob which is small,lightweight and above all fun but feel the need to see further or clearer images, starting with the planets. I have already had a look at the Skyliner 200p which appears to tick many boxes as in ease of use etc and my budget will be around the £300 mark also the scope will be mainly used in the garden so transportation isnt a major concern (just smashing into the French doors on the way out!!) So any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks Tone

200P is a great step up

For planetary, you want a 6mm EP (200x) or maybe a 5mm (240x) for the best of nights viewing.
