scope advice

Hi all, bit of advice from your extensive knowledge.which scope is the better nextstar 4SE or nextstar 127 SLT

Not a lot to choose between them really - the extra aperture of the 127 is preferable cos you'll get slightly brighter views for the extra light grab. That might swing the decision, but both are very capable scopes. It could well boil down to aesthetics in the end.

Like brantuk, I'd go for the extra aperture of the 127. Light is at a premium with visual astronomy so having more of it to play with can't be bad !.
