M42 from Sunday

Just got around to processing some of the images of M42 that I have taken in the last few months. Its generally been at the end of a session and I've taken a few images of M42 as I know I will definitely capture something. M42 + running man (well Dancing shadow perhaps) is 10 x 1Min @ISO3200 and the second image is 5 x 30s @ISO3200.

I am very impressed with the HDR technique in this thread http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-deep-sky/167642-m42-high-detail-first-attempt.html So when we get some more cloud free weather I think I'll give M42 a proper go as there are some fabulous images on the forum.

Many thanks to everyone on SGL that has helped me with suggestions on how to improve my imaging over the year and I look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year

Cheers John
