Which barlow lens???

How do i know which barlow lens to get? 2x 3x or 5x??????? would 5x be too much 2x not enough??? is it dependant on the scope? i have a Skywatcher 130p f/5 . as always forgive my naivity and thanks in advance for the advice. you guys have never let me down yet, one day i'll figure something fantastic out and be able to help someone out myself

2x would be a good start, see if FLO have some of the Tal ones left.

The scope is a start, need to know which eyepieces you have to recommend either the 2x or the 3x.

5x is primarily an imaging tool, not visual.

As above, TAL is a winner in the bang for buck category

i got a 10mm and a 25mm eyepiece

If those are the stock ones, I might be tempted to consider a new EP or two in the same sort of price range as the Barlow.

If you're set on a Barlow then you would want a 2x.

I've got the same scope and picked up the Revelation astro 2.5X one from telescope house, the very good quality for the money.

The EP's that come are duff, I've changed mine gradually for better plossls.

The Vixen NPL's are a good start or just go straight for the Televue.

IIRC the 25mm isn't toooo bad as a finder, it's the 10mm that's terrible.

BST Explorers are always my first suggestion
