magic612
The most recent "Eyes on the Sky" video is out, and can be viewed at this link: Mercury is at greatest elongation and should be an easy target in the early morning sky, and Venus is a nice pointer to some binocular double stars, plus more.I would also like to wish everyone wonderful holidays. Cheers!EDIT: Oops, I see I missed typing the "2" before the "5" in my title. Whoops! <sorted , Helen>

magic612
Thank you for watching, Fuzzy and Grotemobile! By the way, the next few mornings will be ideal times to try and spot Mercury naked eye, if you can find a clear/low horizon to the southeast. The Mercury segment in the video is just 20 seconds into it, so feel free to jump there and see where Mercury will be in the mornings from now through Jan 4. magic612
bigbox and balder, much appreciated. Next week's video will show how to see all eight planets, but looking for Mercury now might make it easiest to spot.
