hi all

i have an eq3-2 skywatcher mount however the dec locking nut/lever has got lost. just wondering if there was anywhere i could get one .

any help is greatly appreciated

There are many suppliers of knobs and related hardware on the internet. Some will send a sample if you don't mind regisrting you details. Nylon and Alloys in West London is a good start.

its not a universal nut tho its more like a lever

I guess your after the knob with the flexible shaft ?

i have the flexible ones

this is the dec locking nut its abot an inch an a half long and fits on a square nut head which is why its more of a lever.cant find a picture of it to link but that astro boot was helpful link anyways lol

but its used to lock the dec axis in place.

watch out it can become addictive.. and you will end up with loads of bolt bottles or filtetrcases as you add the cheapest items to get free delivery...
