which one ?

I'm planning on scoping Jupiter tonight (weather permitting) and i was wondering on which eye piece would be best, i have a 20mm, 12.5mm and a 6mm any feed back would be gladly welcome thanks guys

IMHO I would give the 6mm a go in that case. Clear skies !

Yes, the 6mm would be worth a go but if you don't get a nice clear view with that then back off the power and used the 12.5mm. Remember to leave the scope to cool for a while before using it and don't view through windows etc (I'm sure you know that last one !).

Start with the 12.5mm, assume this gives 64x which should give a reasonable image.

Just concerned that the 6mm @ 132x may be a little high. Although it is pretty clear tonight.

go with the 6 ! Seeing is pretty good at least down south - Jupiter looks good now at high mag
