Quick process of tonights Ha Crab data

Hi all this is my first image posted since ditching the yfronto tag for my real name.

No chance for any more blue data for my ic405 project with the moon. Still a tough night even in Ha, so I decided to shoot a Ha target with higher contrast.

M1 through my 10" newt and HX916 CCD.

20 @ 900 seconds before the mist won the night.

I had a shot at this with a 66. It's nice to see how all those filaments should really look.

Also, do you not get diffraction spikes with your Newt when shooting Ha or are none of the stars in there bright enough to produce them?

Yes you do but like you say in this shot the stars are not bright enough.
