Taken with B600 Lunt Ca-k diagonal and ST102.

And some filaments in Cak, the first time I've imaged any as they are by no means as prominent as in Ha. I have used layers to highlight them a bit more. Oddly enough they don't show up in the mosaic, which just goes to show that detail is lost when you stitch stuff together...

Superb work!! I'm so excited to see the filaments, I've only seen this once before. You have to worry when detail is lost from a mosaic, how much more was lost?

You may loose contrast when stitching because the overlaying image was near the edge and darker. By watching your layers, you may find putting one on top, rather than another may help.
