Hooking up Nikon Dslr to Skywatcher Dob Help needed .

Hi and thanks for dropping in

If you have a skywatcher dob and use a nikon dslr, I need your help please for a rather diverse application.

I was unsure as to which section to put my many questions so please find the link in the camera section below.

Hi

You are aware that a Newtonian reflector will give you un upside down image I gather?

I know this is of little concern when you can simply flip the image any way you want after you have taken it.

I was more getting at the fact it might cause you problems locating and tracking.

The very fact you are looking through the side of the tube at an upside down image might make tracking aircraft very tricky.

I am not saying it can't be done but you aren't making it easy for yourself going that route.

A refractor or SCT may be a better starting block TBH.
