Whilst watching the moto gp highlights just now- 5.10pm, the sun was beating through the front windows on me. So I decided to grab the omc140 and solar filter and have a look with it balanced on my knee.

Can anyone confirm the sunspot I think I saw? With a 10mm ep there seemed to be a spot at the bottom of the image through the ep. Apart from the spot, no other detail was discernible. With the scope mounted, what else would I see?
