Hey all I am wondering.

We see organisations taking pictures of these things like pulsars, magnatars, black holes etc etc.

Is it simply not possible for amateurs to image or see these things ?

I mean if a pulsar emits light it should be visible should it not ?

Or is it simply the fact that all these exotic things for some reason are very very far away from us, and none are as close, as amateurs would be able to see em ?
