c80ed agena astro adapter help

hi all i have a c80ed with the agena astro adapter fitted and i have changed the focuser to a baader steeltrack. however as some of you might be aware the agena adapter doesn't fully screw onto the telescope tube in some cases mine being one of them an issue with thread pitch i think is the problem with the scopes

has anyone found a way to get it to screw on all the way after it became stuck ?

i have tried various lubricants but it wont budge and i don't want to force it.

is it possible to have the thread pitch altered slightly so that the adapter screws on if so does anyone know where to get something like that done ?

Got this sorted using a strap wrench and a bit of elbow grease wasn't to hard in the end just needed the right tool for the job
