Weight on EQ6

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help, I've mounted a skywatcher 250pds & a 80ED on an EQ6, it seems to cope ok, I've had to put some extra weight on the bar, but do you think I might be straining the mount?

One other question, probably a bit silly but the max load being 25kg on an eq6 I assume that includes the weights as well as scope?

No the weights are counterbalance so its 25kg plus counterbalance.
