Got out tonight to test my newly modded canon 450D after its filter replacement with the baader filter by astronomiser, just wandered what might be causing these strange halos around the stars? There was no dew on the lens, and the star was definately focussed, the image was taken through a megrez 72 with sky watcher field flattener, iv never had any problems like this before with the same set up, prior to the mod.

The stars in all my images seem abit bloated? i though the baader replacement filter was suppose the stop star bloating. Should i be getting in touch with astronomiser or is this normal and/or is there any way to get rid of these halos?
