Will snow increase LP

Recommended Posts

With homes more insulated the roofs will keep snow longer, less snow clearing being done.

Will we see a huge increase in LP.

As a newbie this will be my first winter viewing, what is a dark backyard now will I'm sure become well illuminated.

What do the wise ones say?:)

snow will reflect light that hits it but i didnt find it much a hinderence last time, i just blocked out the streetlight

i will say this though, some of the best conditions i have had so far have been with snow on the ground, that cold crisp air :)

Snow on the roofs I imagine will help to reduce the heat haze caused by central heating systems. Being white the snow will reflect any light that falls on it. So I guess it depends on how much LP there is in the first place - if it's totally dark though it won't produce extra glow. Your worst enemy will likely turn out to be the moon :)
