Taken a few days ago. I may add some more data to this if I get another chance.

Skywatcher coma corrector

Canon 500D modded

10 x 300 secs, 800 ISO

10 darks, 20 flats

Not sure what was going on here. The stars are a bit misshapen. PA was fine, guiding was fine. Later that evening I shot some subs of the western veil, and they were all fine, so a little bit of a mystery.

I had a big gradient issue as per my other thread http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-image-processing-help-techniques/158113-sorry-yet-another-ic5146.html which I barely managed to deal with. Again I have brown coloured stars on the right of the picture. Light pollution?

Actually, looking at the jpg I uploaded, the gradient is still very evident. Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Amp noise ? Looks like your biggest problem is right along the right edge. There is a stripe that looks significantly red to me.
