Do I need an IR cut filter when CCD imaging.....

I'd say no as the IR cut (Baader) cuts above 685(?), and from that spectrum so does the UHC it appears.

I'm not an expert though :)

Many thanks. That was kind of what I was thinking too. Don't want to add any more bits of glass if I don't need to.

As I say, no expert but the numbers add up :)

Of course the proof is in the eating, or something like that. Take a few test shots and see if anything bloats out.
