Calling all Canadian observers (particularly those in the Quebec city area)

Hi, My mum has recently returned from a cruise to the US and Canada. She stayed overnight in Quebec city and told me she saw green clouds late in the evening. I am wondering if these might have been aurora. she does have sight problems and i think with that in mind it could be quite easy to mistake aurora for green clouds. She thought they might be NLC because i have told her about those but i think its a bit late for NLC now and also i have never seen green NLC. Does anyone know if there was Aurora between the 16th and 17th of September visible from Quebec city? I would love to be able to tell my mum shes saw Aurora because its something she has always wanted to see.
