G'day @Yad and welcome to SGL. :hello2:

Do not take this personally, but I would advise you to get a better 'scope. I have been a member of SGL for almost ten years to date and the reviews for National Geographic 'scopes make an uncomfortable read. If you are on budget, I would recommend either of these...

  1. Skywatcher Heritage130P Flextube  https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dobsonians/skywatcher-heritage-130p-flextube.html
  2. Skywatcher  Skyliner 150P Dobsonian  https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dobsonians/skywatcher-skyliner-150p-dobsonian.html
  3. Skywatcher  Skyliner 200P Dobsonian  https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dobsonians/skywatcher-skyliner-200p-dobsonian.html

...or the OZ 🇦🇺 / NZ 🇳🇿 equivalent.

You can open a new thread I think, this one is pretty old... You can buy a used plossl around 8 - 10mm for planets and 25, 26mm for wider field...

Thanks ignoro.
