Hi, Looking for a little info, i current have a 10" OO newt on a gem gazer mount, Firstly after a good rebuild the mount is stable and I'm happy with it, but i would like motor drives on both axis. The mount uses friction bearing surfaces but is 144-1 like the eq5. Does anyone have an idea of how torquey the eq5 motors are as my concern is motor stall given non bearing axis'. The fact that a rebuild of the way the motors are fitted to the mount would be needed, means money down the drain if they stall.
