Nobody got an LX200R?

Looking at some websites today, as its prezzy day and lotto day as well (well you never know) I noticed the LX200R OTA only on Steve's FLO website. Now I was under the impression that the faux RC optics would be far superior to a standard SCT design and that the cost would be similarly "inflated". The LX200R 8" is £990, whereas the C8XLT is £969. I'm assuming that these are in some way comparable 'scopes in that they are 8" aperture and just the OTA. So why has nobody opted for the LX200R.

I'm currently not in the market for a premium OTA, but you do look at these things don't you.
