my first night imaging Jupiter

Spent about two hours outside tonight imaging Jupiter.

Tardysweep; not a bad imagine at all for your first shot at it. Try turning down the gain or exposure a bit on your next captures. You want your on screen image to be slightly underexposed,then after stacking and processing you'll be able to pull up much more detail without washing out the fine detail. You may also find a bahtinav mask very helpful for nailing focus. Good work with this,keep it up and good luck.

Good first night imaging IMO. Can see the bands and 2 moons clearly, well done

I'm using a Zhumell 12" dob, Canon 450D, 2" prime focus adapter, Scopetronix Maxpower lens with a Baader IR-Cut moon & skyglow filter. I believe this image is with 5x zoom on the camera
