120ed focal reducer with a 80ed

Hi,

Would the focal reducer for a 120ed work with a 80ed?

They both reduce the f-ratio from f7.5 to f6.37.

I guess it depends on what camera you're using. I have used a William Optics FFII on a ZS66, ED80 and ED120 with good results but that was with an Atik 16hr which in comparison to a DSLR, has a small chip so it doesn't use the whole field. I'd guess with DSLR's and large sensor CCD's, a specific reducer would be necessary for each scope.

I found a thread last night which said it doesn't work. Although it reduces the f-ratio the same, the focal lenghts are different.
