To be honest, we will never know how truthful these photographs really are until someone else (Russia, China, India etc) can independently verify the evidence. There have been several probes mapping the surface but not to the same resolution. Relying on NASA to verify that NASA went to the moon isn't going to help clear up constant speculation.

I did laugh when the reporter on the BBC said that these pictures should finally lay to rest claims that NASA never landed on the moon. I mean, has he never heard of Photoshop? Has he never seen Forrest Gump?
