Comet Gerradd

Well after a quick post about how to add comets in Stellarium (which as always the SGL people answered in minutes!) I rushed out with the Dob and there it was just to the right of the Coathanger! You could see the difference in colour immediately and considering the scope hadn't had a chance to cool down I was really impressed. Cloud now rolled in so off to bed.

First comet since I got a scope back in Feb!

I hope I will have a few clear nights before it disappears behind the house to take a pic or two.

Congrats on getting Garradd. Nice view in bins or a wide field scope too.
