Collimation

I've come to collimating my Skywatcher 200 PDS. Trying the secondary mirror, but the screws seem to be too tight, and are flexing the spider arms. Anything I can do? I'm a complete beginner. Help!

Try loosening off the centre screw by about half a turn first. The 3 tilt adjustment screws should loosen easily enough then.

The centre screw is also very tight, and trying to turn it has the same effect. All the spider arms start bending.

I'd remove the whole spider/secondary assembly from the tube and have a go at that centre screw where you can stop the vanes flexing.
