Help with celestron astromaster EP's given

When I bought my AM 130-EQ, it came with two eyepieces.

One was a 20mm erecting eyepiece and the other was a 10mm

My question is why does the image I see seem to be inverted in one eyepiece compared to the other, for example through the 10mm I saw Jupiter in the centre with 4 moons on its right hand side but when I used the 20mm the moons were on the left hand side of Jupiter

Just curious why this happens

The erecting eyepiece does exactly what it says. The normal view through a reflecting telescope is inverted, as you have observed through the 10mm eyepiece. The 20mm eyepiece turns the image the correct way round for terrestial observing.

I've realised it doesn't affect viewing much, just was wondering why it was like that
