Hello All,

On 19th November 2011 will be the first North Essex Astronomical Society Starfest. Please follow link to purchase tickets and full info on the days events/speakers.

STARFEST 2011

Guest speakers are Pete Lawrence, Paul Abel (sky@night) Mark Thompson (BBC The One Show) Andrew Green (Stardome-Astronomy & Astronautics, BBC Radio) and Dr Stuart Clark (ESA Senior Editor for Space Science)

As well as a host of trade stands and a F1 Simulator with prizes for fasted lap!! (conventions don't have to be the same!!! ;0) )

Book signings and spacerocksuk with refreshments to purchase.

Solar viewing will be held outside (obviously!) if the weather is good via our societies Lunt solar scope and William Optics white light filter scopes.

With eateries just 5mins away the day should be really good.

So please support our 1st Starfest and hopefully this might become a regular thing as is Astrofest!

Tickets are priced at £12 each and can be paid for via paypal (booking fee's apply) or by downloading order form and sending monies via post.
