Something for those cloudy nights. I am reading this at the moment and it's giving me a real feel for how the early pioneers in astronomy lived. Quite educational even though its a novel.

Finished this today. Great book, I was surprised to see the author Stuart Clark on SAN last week with Piers Sellers and the usual crew talking about the end of the shuttle era. I had no idea how tough Kepler and Galileo had it and how much worse it could have been!
