Has anyone experimented with cooling cameras using flexible heat pipes and TECs ? or maybe just a tec

Flexible avionics and aerospace high-temperature heat pipes, Thermacore Inc.

Alternatively the heat pipes could be used with an ice and salt solution to get down to well below zero at low cost?

DS cameras are cooled with a TEC devices.
