Which 2" EP for a Skymax 150?

I'm thinking of either a 32mm 70 degree design (field stop = 40mm), or a 30mm 68 degree design... I don't want to see any vignetting. The 32mm would give a 1.25 degree FOV ad the latter a 1.1 degree FOV.

I've read that people have used 30mm wide angle EPs on skymax 150s, and i wondering how far I can push it...

You may (will?) need to use a 2" adapter / diagonal on the back of the MAK150.

Experiment may prove fruitful - Always expensive... Ever difficult to predict.

I don't think you will "see" vignetting as such - If it's happening I reckon the outer parts of the field of view just won't be getting as much light as the central part. Apparently it has to be a fair amount dimmer for it to be noticeable, visually.

I forgot that. I think there would be no problem with a typical 30-something mm, 70 deg, two inch eyepiece. As an example, the 31mm 70 Deg Baader Aspheric works fine for me...

All good news. I think I will go for the 32mm TS WA Erfle. They should be fine at F12. I think they are the same as the panaview but a bit cheaper - they come identical focal lengths at any rate.
