Blue Flash Nebula

Looking Up

Recommended Posts

Not much blue and not much flash, this is my noisy heavily cropped NGC 6905 in Delphinus, 5 x 10 mins iso 800. Stacked using DDS & processed with PI. I think I will stay clear of such small objects from now on, out of my depth trying to process these little gems!

Not much blue, you're right, but does that matter? It's subtle, in a good way. Would it be worth trying the same target with a lot more shorter subs? It's been my experience that has helped with these sorts of objects, because they don't get drowned out so much by plump stars.
