My purchase has been made and it should be with me tomorrow or Monday.

After hours of pondering and discussions on the +vs- with Becks, who has had a lot of input on Astro related funds and purchases as of late, (putting her foot down i think, but it is good that she takes an active part in the discussion) I have decided to go the OSC route.

And at present the best value (and in my budget) OSC imo is a QHY8L.

Thanks for all the advice I have had along the way from various SGL members, I know some will tut tut and others will thumbs up.

But the proof is as always is in the pudding.

I'd be interested to see your images as well. Shortage of clear nights (and not having an obsy), and a general shortage of time is currently leading me in the direction of an OSC, and the QHY8 in particular.
