womblemaster
this ep turned up as well, although it seems little more obvious what it is!
NGC 1502
anyone help me id this ep....fell into my lap from the heavens, and am not sure what it is exactly. ie age/model. thanks)It's a 40mm 1.25" fitting Plossl. These Celestron Plossls were sold by David Hinds in the 90s, and had a complete range from very low to high power. I'm fairly sure that they were commonly rebadged with differing brand names.A 40mm 1.25" fitting plossl will show the same amount of sky as a 32mm, (although at a lower magnification) due to the constraints of the 1.25" barrel.Regards, Ed.
