Ok, next question. Is tube of your telescope thick enough, and not flexing when you mount your camera and corrector? I'm asking this because TS250mm Newton tube is made of steel and is only 0.9-1mm. I find it too flexy when i try to mount 60mm finderguider to it. For focuser and Canon 1000D it's quite ok.

You wondered about focal length, both of your scopes have quite near same f/ ratio. Focal lenght does not matter, light cone has similar shape in 500 and 50mm f/5 telescopes, in first one light cone just longer:)

Hi Ransu. Many thanks. I'm certain the tube is thick enough. As I've said earlier in the thread, the star images are fine when using the camera without the coma corrector (apart from obvious coma at the edges), or when using a DSLR, so it can't be the weight of the camera.
