Help with very dirty lenses.

Just managed to get my old 60mm tasco out. Thought id give it a test, it isnt a bad little scope. Gave it a clean but noticed especially when using it to look at something like a light, stars or even the moon that almost circular objects show up in the view, distorting the picture and it is unable to focus. This isnt the mirror this is fine. On closer inspection of the lenses tilting them in and out of light shown little circle marks on the glass almost like they are in the actual glass.

I gave them a good clean but still no success. Does anyone know how you can clean them, if you can do at all. They have been away in the loft for a good 10-15 years with no cap.

Could it be mould on the insides of them?

I would most likely think so they have been away so long. in a cold damp environment for atleast 10-15 years or so. Do you think they are ready for throwing away?
