NLC's 9th/10th July 2011

Just a couple of noctilucent cloud images from Scottish Borders on the night/morning 9th/10th. I think the brightest, most dense and certainly the most colourful display I have ever observed rich in blues & golds, the whole display being fringed with red on the upper edge.

That night was an interesting display - not as dramatic in pattern as the previous weekend but more varied and very bright just before dawn.
