Pentax Astrotracing GPS???

Just noticed this link on dpreview. It seems like a Japanese company made a device that will shift the CMOS chip in a Pentax DSLR's vibration reduction unit to track stars in long exposure.

DCWatch reports on Pentax's Astro Tracing function using the O-GPS module: Digital Photography Review

Sounds like a interesting concept. The sample shots at the bottom of the website showed the concept worked. Google translate of the original Japanese review doesn't make much sense. If anyone here understand Japanese, can you summarise what that review please?

I think it's useful if you already owned a Pentax DSLR and wanted to use the camera for some long exposure widefield photos while backpacking. It saves carrying an Astrotrac around.

If one aren't already a Pentax user, one might well just get an Astrotrac.
