JamesM
Having recently read Steve's (@Flo) comments regarding the likely rise in prices and possible scarcity of some new kit, I thought I would ask whether you think this is maybe what Steve was talking about?HereJames

astro mick
Micro-Max,are a set of Digital setting circles, sold by Jims Mobile in the US.They are very good. Both axis have encoders fitted to them, which in turn connect to a small hand set computer. You alighn on two stars, then either enter co-ordinates,or imput directly from the computer data base.It calculates the off sets then you manualy push the two axis until the the R/A and Dec readings are Zero.Usually puts the object within a 26mm eyepiece. Also no polar alighnment is required.Me thinks how ever the seller may have to re-visit this add.Mick.
