cheap lp for dslr prime focus imaging?

can anyone help me with what i need to get in order to have a light pollution filter in my imaging setup?

i will have a canon 400d body with a 1.25" t ring thingy and it will be attached to a 200p. where can the filter go, and what is the cheapest way of doing it? will be imaging nebula etc - i have a neximage for planets. incidentally, does an lp make much difference when imaging planets?

Hi,

I have the standard Canon T-adapter and 2" T-mount. I am then able to attach the Skywatcher 2"LPF which works in the light pollution in my area and are relatively inexpensive compared to others.

In your current setup you could probably fit a 1.25" filter to the end of the camera adaptor...

I wouldnt have thought LP is too big an issue for Lunar and the brighter planets...
